RIVERTON CITY PARK, softball field, 12700 S. 1300 West:
    Today, 9 p.m.: Teens ages 13-18 can hunt for Easter eggs filled with candy or cash at 9 p.m. Bring a flashlight.
    Saturday, 10 a.m., children can hunt for thousands of eggs filled with candy, toys or money. Bring an Easter basket; www.rivertoncity.com.
    WEST VALLEY FITNESS CENTER, 5415 W. 3100 South, West Valley City: This center offers five events, including an evening hunt at two locations. For more information, call 801-955-4016. The schedule:
    Today, 9 p.m., flashlight egg hunt for ages 13-16 on the Centennial Park west softball complex.
    Saturday, 8:30 a.m., egg hunt for ages 2-12 at the Centennial Park west softball complex.
    Saturday, 9 a.m., breakfast with The Bunny for ages 1 and older; $5 members ($7 others), $4 children 1 to 11 ($6 nonmembers); children must be accompanied by paid adult.
    Saturday, 10:30-11:40 a.m., Easter egg dives for children 11 and under divided into age groups; $2 members, $3 others.
    Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., egg dive for children 15 and under divided into age groups; $2 members, $3 others.
    SALT LAKE CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU, 90 S. West Temple, Salt Lake City: Saturday, 10 a.m., for youngsters 10 and under. Kids will be grouped by age to hunt for eggs while parents learn about things to do in Salt Lake City.
    FISHER PARK, 934 S. 1000 East, Clearfield:
    Saturday, 10 a.m. Children of all ages (divided by age) as well as children with special needs can hunt for 11,000 plastic eggs filled with candy or a voucher for a prize.
    The hunt will be followed by an Easter egg dive at the Clearfield City Aquatic Center, 825 S. State St, Clearfield, with the first dive from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and a second dive from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Open to children 5-14, divided by age. Open plunge follows.
    Pre-registration is required for the egg dive, which costs $5 per child. Call 801-525-2640 or visit the center to register.
    FITTS PARK, 3050 S. 500 East, South Salt Lake: Saturday, 10 a.m. Egg hunt, photos with Easter Bunny, prizes. Kids 2 to 12 will be grouped by age; there is also a group for youngsters with developmental challenges. 801-412-3217.
    WHEELER FARM, 6351 S. 900 East, Murray: Saturday, 9 a.m. Candy hunt, open to kids up to age 11.
    DIMPLE DELL RECREATION CENTER, 10670 S. 1000 East, Sandy: Saturday, 9 a.m. Easter egg dive in the pool for kids 3 to 13. Registration required by calling 801-495-1480; children 5 and under must be accompanied in the pool by parent. Space is limited; $1 per child.

    SOUTH JORDAN RECREATION CENTER

    THANKSGIVING POINT, 3003 N. Thanksgiving Point Way, Lehi: Saturday, 9 a.m. Easter Eggstreme includes an egg hunt, games, relay races, face painting and other activities. Hunts begin at 10 a.m. and noon; $8 per child (kids two and younger are free), $3 adults at the venue box office or by calling 801-768-4900.

* ANTELOPE ISLAND -- 10 a.m. at the state park. Other activities include a fishing pond, face painting, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and farm ball and gunny sack races. Prizes will be awarded for all activities. 649-5742.

* BEAR RIVER CITY -- 9 a.m. at the City Park. For age 12 and younger.

* BOUNTIFUL -- 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the 400 North Park. Hosted by the Bountiful City Youth Council. Activities for all ages include Easter egg hunt, bounce house, games and food.

* BRIGHAM CITY -- 10 a.m. at Pioneer Park, 800 W. Forest St., Brigham City, for ages 12 and younger.

* CENTERVILLE -- 9:30 a.m. at Founder's Park at 389 N. Main St. For children ages 10 and under. Featuring 8,000 stuffed Easter eggs, with prizes and candy. Sponsored by the Centerville Youth Council.

* CLEARFIELD -- 10 a.m. sharp at Fisher Park, 920 S. 1000 East. Sponsored by Clearfield City Recreation and the American Legion Post No. 134 and Auxiliary. Hunting areas for ages 2 and under, 3-5, 6-8, 9-10, and special-needs children. Parents may help children in the 2-and-under and special needs groups. 525-2790. Also, Easter egg dives at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. the Clearfield City Aquatic Center, 825 S. State St. For children ages 5-14. $5. * CLINTON -- 9 a.m. at the park behind West Clinton Elementary at 2826 W. 1800 North. For children 12 and under, separate areas for each age group. Sponsored by the Clinton Fire Department and Recreation Department.

* DEWEYVILLE -- 10 a.m. at the Deweyville Park. For age 11 and younger.

* FARMINGTON -- 10 a.m. at Main Park, 100 S. Main St. For ages 12 and under. Hosted by the Farmington Youth City Council. 451-0953.

* FARR WEST -- 10 a.m. at Mountain View Park, 1500 N 1700 West.

* FRUIT HEIGHTS -- 10 a.m. at Harvey Park (Fruit Heights City Buiding), 910 S. Mountain Road. For ages 10 and under. There will be face painting half an hour before and after the hunt. In case of bad weather, the hunt will be held March 24 at 4:30 p.m.

* GARLAND -- 9 a.m. for children age 11 and younger, sponsored by the Garland Fire Department; 9 p.m., for youth age 12 to 18, sponsored by Garland Youth Council. Both egg hunts in City Park, 300 E. 100 North.

* HILL AIR FORCE BASE -- 9 a.m. at the Hill Aerospace Museum, 7961 Wardleigh Road, Building 1955, Hill Air Force Base. For age groups 2-4, 5-7, 8-10 and 11-13.

* KAYSVILLE -- 10 a.m. at Barnes Park, 950 W. 200 North. For children ages 1 through 12; bring your own basket. Sponsored by the city.

* NORTH OGDEN -- 9 a.m., North Ogden Elementary, 474 E. 2650 North. For children ages 1 to 9. Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club.

* NORTH SALT LAKE -- 10 a.m. at Hatch Park, 50 W. Center St. For ages 0 to 12. Sponsored by the Youth City Council.

* OGDEN -- 1 p.m. in Rolling Hills Park, 1480 E. 12th St., sponsored by Canyon Road Assembly of God. Free and open to public for children up to sixth grade; preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult.

* OGDEN -- 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., in Ogden Eccles Dinosaur Park, 1544 E. Park Blvd. Children will be divided into three age groups for hunting: ages 0-3, ages 4-6 and ages 7-12. About 8,000 eggs will divided between the two hunts. All eggs will be filled with candy and toys, and some will be redeemable for prizes. General admission: $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, and $4 for children. All children 1 and younger get in free. The park will be closed Easter Sunday.

* PERRY -- 10 a.m. at the City Park, 900 W. 2450 South, no age restrictions.

* PLEASANT VIEW -- 9 a.m. at 885 W. Pleasant View Drive (the old city offices).

* RIVERDALE -- 9 a.m. in Riverdale Park. Ages 18 months to 10 years. Sponsored by the Riverdale Youth Council.

* ROY -- 9 a.m. on Hill Aerospace Museum grounds, 7961 Wardleigh Road. Take the Roy exit (Exit 338) off I-15. Children will be divided into four age groups: 2-4, 5-7, 8-10, and 11-13. Most of the eggs are filled with candy, but a few have special prizes inside. Free. Sponsored by Hill Aerospace Museum.

* ROY -- 10 a.m. at Sandridge Park, 2100 W. 4450 South. For children age 12 and younger.

* SNOWVILLE -- 11:30 a.m. at the park. For children age 11 and younger.

* SOUTH OGDEN -- 8 a.m., photo with Easter Bunny; 9 a.m., egg huntriendship Park, 655 E. 5500 South. Rain, snow or shine. Features 20,000 eggs filled with candy and coupons. For children age 12 and younger.

* SUNSET -- 10 a.m. at Central Park behind the fire station, 85 W. 1800 North. For children up to age 12. Sponsored by the Sunset Fire Department.

* SYRACUSE -- 9 a.m. at Founder's Park, 1500 S. 1900 West in Syracuse.

* TREMONTON -- 10 a.m. at the Jeanie T. Stevens Park, 670 N. 1000 West. For ages 12 and younger. Sponsored by the Kiwanis.

* WASHINGTON TERRACE -- 9 a.m. in Rohmer Park. Sponsored by the Washington Terrace Youth Council.

* WOODS CROSS -- 10-11:15 a.m. at Woods Cross Elementary School, 745 W. 1100 South, for ages 1-12. Sponsored by the Youth City Council. Bring a canned food donation to enter a drawing for a filled Easter basket.

* WEST BOUNTIFUL -- 10 a.m. at the bowery behind City Hall, 550 N. 800 West. Hosted by the youth council. 292-4486.

* WEST POINT -- 10 a.m. at Loy Blake Park, 3500 W. 550 North. For children 12 and under. Pictures with the Easter bunny available for $3. Sponsored by the West Point Youth Council.

* WILLARD -- 10 a.m., Willard City Offices, 50 S. Center St. The city is asking for donations (make checks out to Willard City Offices).

 

* COMING UP: MORGAN -- April 12 at noon at the Wilkinson Recreation Complex behind Morgan High School, 55 N. 200 East. (2 week delay due to snow and an early Easter.) For children age 8 and younger. Features 450 baskets donated by area businesses. Continuing a 50-year tradition sponsored by the Morgan Lions Club.
